With the offseason around the corner, there has been an increased focus on players looking for a change, or possible trades. One of the biggest names this year is Damian Lillard. Lillard, who is about to turn 31, has been playing the best basketball of his life for the past two seasons. However, his team has been knocked out in the first round for two straight years. This has caused a lot of discussions to raise about Lillard’s future in Portland, despite him always talking about being loyal.

LeBron James is actively recruiting Damian Lillard

LeBron James has been one of the more influential people in the league. He has always had an impact on his team’s roster, and how it shapes up. He was crucial in getting Anthony Davis to LA. It is assumed LBJ may play the same role in the case of Damian Lillard.

Adding sparks to the rumor was the fact that the two were spotted together at the Aces vs Sparks WNBA game today.

While the chances of Lillard making his way to LA seem low, if the Lakers manage to pull something like that off, they can definitely take on a healthy Brooklyn Nets and give us a Finals to remember. We’ll have to wait and see how things turn out. In the meanwhile, the Hawks gear up to face Bucks tomorrow for Game 5.
