"Let him enjoy. I Can't Anymore": Nikola Jokic Has no Qualms About Equalling Larry Bird's MVP three-peat

Is Nikola Jokic, the perennial MVP? The statement might just turn true at the end of this season. The Nuggets superstar is averaging career-highs in assist numbers and it looks like he might even average a triple-double!

The last time that happened, well Russell Westbrook was only awarded the MVP just once for that stint. But Nikola might win it and become the second player since Larry Bird to win the MVP award thrice, in a row!

For most NBA players this would be nothing short of a dream. The only active players with multiple MVPs are LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Nikola Jokic.

The Joker, however, has no qualms about bettering his peers and inching 1 MVP closer to the legendary LeBron James. In fact, he doesn’t care.

Nikola Jokic is unbothered about equalling Larry Bird

For some, reaching greatness is a matter of pride, for Nikola, it is another day in the office. The Serbian is not concerned with awards and accolades.

When asked about how he feels to be potentially in contention for winning his third, he was rather nonchalant about it. He cannot answer any more questions. Unless it is about horses, we think Nikola would happily answer those.

He doesn’t even care if he equals Larry Bird. Oh, Nikola!

“Let him enjoy, I can’t anymore”: The Joker wants Larry Bird to have his record

Nikola Jokic wants no part of being in conversation with other greats or to equal Larry’s record of winning three MVP awards in succession.

There are things that would be better if it stayed that way, that’s what Nikola thinks. He doesn’t want any part of winning it again or tying Larry.

He probably just wants to win the championship. And go back to his horses.
