"Lionel Messi has some good taste I see!": Warriors’ Stephen Curry comes up with brilliant tweet to wish soccer legend on his move to PSG

Warriors superstar Stephen Curry takes to his Twitter to point out a similarity between him and PSG superstar Lionel Messi

This offseason has been a busy one for the Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry. The Warriors are busy building a roster that would allow Steph and Klay Thompson to be in the state to compete for a ring again. Meanwhile, having come off one of the best seasons of his career, Steph has taken some much-needed rest and is back in the gym. He spent time on the Golf course and then celebrated his anniversary with Ayesha Curry.

Meanwhile, things have been busy in the soccer world as well. Due to the salary cap issues and other complications, Lionel Messi had to part ways with FC Barcelona after being with them for 17 years. After a painful goodbye with Barca, teams did not wait for long to snatch up the soccer GOAT.

Stephen Curry congratulates Lionel Messi for his new contract with a tweet

Apart from being one of the bests at what they do, Lionel Messi and Stephen Curry now have another thing in common with each other. Steph, who has been friends with Neymar Jr. for quite some time now, visited his friend in Paris a few years ago, where he got his customized #30 PSG jersey.

Neymar Jr. wears the #10 jersey in the PSG camp. Lionel Messi, who usually wears #10, was offered the #10 by Neymar, but he politely declined and took up #30. Seeing this, Stephen Curry took to his Twitter. He congratulated Messi for his new 2 year, $104 million contract, while talking about his new jersey number.
