“Look at Curry, so inspirational man”: Bulls announcer praises Warriors' Steph Curry with a meme straight off Internet message boards after a deep 3

A Chicago Bulls announcer called Steph Curry an inspirational figure after the Warriors star hits a deep 3 in last night’s game.

The Golden State Warriors have finally claimed their first win of the 2020-21 NBA season, and it came at the hands of the Chicago Bulls last night.

The bout wasn’t without its late game heroics as Damion Lee, who happens to be Steph Curry’s brother-in-law, hit a 3 to win the game for the Warriors, 129-128. Steph Curry also seemed to get his mojo back, as he dropped 36 points, after ditching his braids.

En route to his 36 points, Steph Curry had a memorable moment play out in the middle of the game. However, this moment cannot be attributed to Curry alone, as the Chicago Bulls announcer was the one who decided to make a reference to a meme involving the 2x MVP.

Bulls announcer gives a shoutout to Curry by calling him ‘inspirational’.

The “look at Curry man” meme took the world by storm over the summer. This is due to popular YouTuber FlightReacts being enamoured by Curry, and also saying, “Look at Curry man, so inspirational.”

This seemed to have resonated with the NBA community as it became a part of the culture, with this phrase being used in memes constantly. Steph himself acknowledged the phrase during and IG live a couple months back.

It seems as though the 3 point sniper can’t escape this meme. The Bulls announcer in tonight’s game decided to reference this quote and said, “Look at Curry! So inspirational man.”
