The sequel of the famous 1996 hit Space Jam just dropped yesterday. The highly anticipated sequel had a lot of people excited for its release. However, the movie has garnered quite a mixed reaction from people. A lot of people praise the movie for its incredible graphics, but apart from that, nothing really went right for the movie.
Despite having a star-studded cast, the movie centered around LeBron James and his son, Dom James. The two visit Warner Bros. studio, and get abducted into the ‘serververse’ by an algorithm named ‘Al G. Rhythm’. LeBron has to fight his way out of there and save his son, by competing in a game of basketball. Bron and the Looney Tunes face off Al G’s loaded Goon Squad. The Goon Squad featured Klay Thompson as ‘wet fire’, Damian Lillard as ‘Chronos’, Anthony Davis as ‘The Brow’, Diana Taurasi as ‘White Mamba’, and Nneka Ogwumike as ‘Arachnneka’.
LeBron James and the Tune squad get an unexpected cameo by Michael Jordan in Space Jam: A New Legacy
Michael Jordan and the Looney Tunes have history. It’s been 25 years since the Tunes fought alongside His Airness, yet they still remember him. During the half-time of the game, LeBron James and his Tune Squad were down 1002 points. Sylvester, voiced by Jeff Bergman thinks he found the perfect solution. He runs excitedly in the locker room and announces he found Michael Jordan in the stands.
Daffy Duck begins with an introduction to His Airness and lists some of his achievements. However, as the shadow gets closer, we see its not the MJ we expected. It is Black Panther’s famous actor Michael B. Jordan.

There was obvious confusion, and the hope drained out of the Tune Squad after seeing the actor. The producers were very pleased with themselves for the joke, and honestly, it was one of the better parts of the movie.
