"It's not about scoring, it's about vision": Lakers star LeBron James opens up about what skill excites him the most among other players

A number of interesting conversations about the NBA took place when Richard Jefferson hosted LeBron James on his Road Trippin’ Podcast.

In one of the best podcasts of the year so far, former teammates Richard Jefferson and LeBron turned it up a notch. Jefferson made James feel completely at home. His voice and presence allowed LeBron to express in a way he normally wouldn’t open up to the press.

Among the many interesting statements James made was his assertion that he’d won the two toughest NBA championships in history.

LeBron James compares Luka Doncic to himself and Magic Johnson

Richard Jefferson posed the question about the emergence of the do-it-all swingmen in the NBA. LeBron himself is a prime example of the same. Jefferson also threw in Luka’s name for good measure. James lapped it all up:

LeBron compared Luka’s style of play to his own and that of Magic Johnson – the Lakers legend who ushered in the Showtime Era. Magic was a 6’9″ point guard who was way oversized for his position, but defended swingmen of his own size.

In addition, James also stressed that players like Luka have the ability to control the whole tempo of the game. Both for his own offense and that of the opposition as well.
