"Making sure Devin Booker doesn't foul out": ESPN commentator Mark Jackson makes a hilarious gaffe on air during the WCF

Former NBA coach turned commentator Mark Jackson sparks on-air confusion regarding Devin Booker during Game five of the WCF.

The Phoenix Suns defeated the LA Clippers in Game Four of the WCF to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series. Devin Booker, who struggled from the field in Games two and three, managed to find his rhythm back in Game four as he ended the night with 25-points.

During Game two of the WCF, the Phoenix star suffered a broken nose due to his head-on collision with Clippers guard Patrick Beverly. Nevertheless, the Suns were able to win Game two with one of the best game-winning dunks in recent time by Deandre Ayton.

NBA veteran Chris Paul was back in the lineup for Game three but struggled from the field. Cp3 had 15-points at the end of the night on a dismal 26.3% shooting from the field. Booker, who was just coming off the first triple-double of his career, had shooting woes that night as well as he shot 23.8% from the field.

Mark Jackson gets ridiculed for not realizing that Devin Booker had fouled out.

The Suns and the Clippers struggled from the field during Game four. Suns head coach Monty Williams described it as a slugfest. The finals moments of the game turned into a free-throw contest that would decide the winner of the contest.

Devin Booker, who was the leading scorer on the Suns’ roster, was fouled out of the game with 1:05 seconds remaining. The 2x NBA All-Star received his 6th foul after a foul call on Patrick Beverley was overturned.

During the broadcast, Jackson could be heard saying, that Suns coach Monty Williams was taking Booker out to avoid foul trouble.

However, this mistake didn’t go unnoticed by fans who didn’t spare the commentator a minute. What followed was a series of trolls online poking fun at the former Warriors coach for not paying attention during the game.

Social media was quick to respond with some funny reaction to Jackson’s blooper
