"Michael Jordan Was a Killer LeBron James Isn't": When Floyd Mayweather Chose His GOAT in the NBA

The last two decades have seen many people weigh in on one debate. Who is the GOAT? Michael Jordan or LeBron James. A debate that has raged ever since the King entered the league in 2003.

20 years later, and both have very similar resumes. While LeBron does have only four rings to MJ’s six, he is well on his way to surpassing Jordan in a number of other categories. Having already shown he is a better scorer.

Nevertheless, everyone has their opinion, including other greats. Like, Floyd Mayweather, perhaps the greatest boxer of all time, has given his two cents. And, he picks Michael Jeffrey Jordan.

Floyd Mayweather is picking killer Michael Jordan over LeBron James in the GOAT debate

Everyone has their opinion when it comes to the NBA GOAT debate. Is it Michael Jordan or LeBron James? His Airness or King James?

Many have shared their thoughts over the years. But, who better than another GOAT to settle the debate? Well, according to the boxer, Floyd Mayweather, while LeBron is great, MJ’s killer mentality makes him the best.

“I love LeBron right? But one thing about Michael Jordan…he gonna come out there every night to try to kill you. Every night. LeBron be seeming like he’s playing kinds nonchalant sometimes which I don’t like. But, if they played against each other, LeBron James is too strong and too fast. But if I had to choose one, I’m picking Michael Jordan because I gotta go with somebody who’s gonna go out there and give it their all every night.”
An interesting take from Money Mayweather. One that many will criticize, especially once The King takes his crown as the greatest scorer of all time.

LeBron may finally surpass Michael Jordan once he becomes the greatest scorer of all time

It is highly unlikely that King James will win two more rings. But, LeBron has left Michael Jordan behind in a number of other categories. Having already passed His Airness on the scoring charts, James is set to cement his name in history. After all, he is just a few points away from becoming the No.1 scorer in NBA history.

It will be interesting to see what people have to say when it inevitably happens. Will LeBron finally become the GOAT?
