Don Cheadle hints claims Michael Jordan will be in Space Jam 2 alongside LeBron James but says it won’t be in the role people think it is.
LeBron James’s move to the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2018 offseason was deemed to be one that was fueled by wanting to further integrate himself into the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. NBA personalities claimed he was preparing for a career outside of basketball by utilizing his SpringHill Entertainment production company.

Fast-forward 2 years later and LeBron James has been able to balance out his Hollywood life with his NBA life perfectly well, considering the fact that he brought a title to the Lakers last year. Now, he’ll be taking on the mantle from Michael Jordan this July 14th to star in a lead role for Space Jam: A New Legacy.
The plot revolves around James needing to save his son from Al-G Rhythm who’s played by Don Cheadle, and in doing so, needs to face off against the Goon Squad.
Don Cheadle confirms Michael Jordan’s appearance in Space Jam 2 alongside LeBron James.
In a recent interview, Don Cheadle revealed that Michael Jordan will indeed be making an appearance in Space Jam 2. “Michael Jordan is in the movie, but not in the way that you would expect it,” said Cheadle.
It’s unknown in what capacity Michael Jordan will make an appearance. Interestingly enough, Don Cheadle may have been playing with his words when answering the question as he very well could’ve meant that Michael B. Jordan will be cameoing here as he technically would not be lying if he said Michael Jordan is in the movie as the ‘Creed’ actor is also named ‘Michael Jordan’.
To add more fuel to this theory, not only did Michael B. Jordan visit LeBron James on the set of Space Jam 2, but he’s also credited as a cast member on Google. It is very much a possibility that Cheadle is alluding to B. Jordan making a cameo, not the Chicago Bulls legend.
