Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant formed one of the most dynamic duos the NBA has ever seen. However, they also had a serious feud and did not get along off the court. O’Neal came into an LA Lakers team as the sole star and saw Bryant develop into one of the best NBA players ever seen. Back in 2009, Shaquille O’Neal was part of the All-Star Comedy Jam which saw multiple big-name comedians attend, including Aries Spears. Spears’ comedy routine stole the show, and it included multiple jabs against Shaq and even Charles Barkley.

The comedian majorly made fun of the way the two spoke. O’Neal shared a throwback video on Instagram as part of a story. We think he approves of Spears making fun of Kobe and it sure is hilarious.
Shaquille O’Neal was destroyed by Aries Spears during the 2009 All-Star Comedy Jam!
The standup show was attended by Shaquille O’Neal, who was wearing a white suit. Shaq had not retired yet, and was still playing in the NBA, for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Aries Spears spoke about a range of topics, including O’Neal’s suit, which he claimed looked like a picnic tablecloth. He proceeded to make fun of the way O’Neal speaks and did a hilarious impression that had Shaq in splits. Aries also referenced O’Neal’s feud with Kobe Bryant:
“You know I am gonna get on Shaq with that picnic table suit. You can eat a jelly sandwich on it and then take it back. Like Shaq I love you but you are the slowest talker in the league. You take two weeks to answer a ****ing question. Like Shaq, you and Kobe are feuding what’s going on?”

The comedian then made fun of O’Neal’s hand movements which he made when he spoke, claiming that it was as if Shaq was bouncing balls while speaking. Finally, Aries proceeded to make fun of the way Charles Barkley talked as well:
“Like I love Charles Barkley but Charles is another one. Like Charles can’t talk for shit. It is like whatever is coming out of Charles’ head cannot come out of his mouth. Like his mind and mouth are playing Marco Polo they are not on the same accord.”
Shaquille O’Neal once dissed Kobe Bryant via a freestyle rap
While Kobe and Shaquille eventually repaired their relationship, their feud was as worse as it gets. The two had come close to physical altercations multiple times, and reportedly could not stand each other after the 2004 NBA season.
The freestyle rap started by claiming that Kobe needed his help to win games. He proceeded to blame Bryant for his divorce and compared himself to the late rapper B.I.G.
While the two eventually repaired their relationship, O’Neal eventually revealed that he regretted the way things went down between the two. Speaking to the Pivot Podcast, Shaq revealed that he regretted not repairing his relationship with Kobe sooner.
