Heat vs Pacers TV Schedule

Indiana Pacers (44-28) will face Miami Heat (44-28) for a fourth spot finish in the East. Here we look at the Match Preview and TV schedule for the game.

In an all Eastern Tie-up, fourth seed Heat will go against fifth seed Pacers. Both teams have a similar record, and the team finishing fourth won’t get any advantage. No.5 seed and No.4 seed will be up against each other in the playoffs, so today’s game could be a pre-cursor to how things will shape up when these 2 sides meet in the first round of the playoffs next week.

Pacers will enter the match with three wins in the last five contests, whereas Heat has two wins under their belt in the previous five encounters. Heat lost their previous game against OKC Thunder 115-116 in dying minutes. Pacers, on the other hand, will step on the court with a win in the last match against Rockets (108-104).

A win for Heat will keep them on the fourth spot, but if Pacers win, they will finish fourth. Whatever be the result, both teams will face each other in the first round of playoffs. Both sides won’t want to give much away tonight, and hence expect the reserves to hog playing time tonight.

Heat vs Pacers Preview

Miami Heat can be a potential threat to the Eastern Conference powerhouse teams like Bucks and defending champion Raptors. Their season restart has been good and will look to go deep in the playoffs, as they have the firepower in them to take teams by surprise.

The young brigade of Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinso, and Kendrick Nunn lead by Jimmy Buttler is doing well in Orlando. The team has got its combinations right in crucial games, which will help against the Pacers in the first round.

We might not see the rivalry between Jimmy Buttler and TJ Warren in today’s match as the starters will be rested ahead of the playoffs. However, expect things to spice up between them when the playoffs begin.

TJ Warren has looked in good shape in the bubble and will play a pivotal role for Pacers in the playoffs. He is averaging, a team-high 19.8 points per game with 4.2 rebounds. Justin Holiday and JaKarr have also provided great support and would be pivotal in the series vs Heat.

Among the Pacers’ two defeats in the Bubble, one has been against Heat, and today they will look to improve on that. Both teams will start with their bench players, and the winner is hard to predict. However, you can put our money on Heat as they have been firing on all cylinders
