The NBA restart is finally here after many ups and downs. The season was suspended on 11 March due to the coronavirus outbreak. Today the league resumes with a doubleheader, Jazz vs Pelicans and Lakers vs Clippers.

Each team has played three scrimmages to dust of the rust ahead of the seeding games. Pelicans are on top of their game, winning all three of their scrimmages. Jazz are also in good form as they have won two scrimmage games against Heat and Nets.
Pelicans will be further buoyed by the return of Zion Williamson, who has now completed his quarantine period after leaving the Bubble due to an emergency.
The season has only eight regular-season seeding games left for each team, so the teams will have no room for errors. Pelicans are in the fight for the 8th spot in their conference and need to step on the gas from the word go.

Utah Jazz vs New Orleans Pelicans Preview
Pelicans are steaming with confidence with there three wins and their Star Rookie Zion Williamson is also back in the team for the restart. Reports have suggested that Zion’s appearance in the game will be a game decision as the side will not want to risk the 6-foot-6. However, the Pelicans would desperately need the rookie in their squad tonight, if they are to have any chance of upsetting the high flying Jazz.

Jazz is currently the No.4 seed team (41-23) and Pelicans is the No. 10 seed team (28-36) in the Western Conference. Pelicans will want a win in today’s game as they have to fight for the eighth seed. A win against a stronger team like Utah Jazz will increase their chances for the playoffs.
Whereas the Jazz will want a good start so as to finish high on the table. Any error from the Utah Jazz at the start of the season can cost them their 4th spot. Thunder, Rockets, and Mavericks are only one game behind the Jazz, all the three teams have 40 wins.
Team News For New Orleans Pelicans
Pelicans star rookie Zion Williamson returned to the bubble earlier this week and has cleared the quarantine. He practiced on Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of the restart and this can be the indication that he might start for pelican in today’s match.
The rest of the team has the important minutes from the scrimmage and is blazing for the season restart. Both Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram have been playing decently and will now have to step up to the challenge.
