The NBA action will continue tonight with the Lakers taking on the Thunder. The Lakers sealed their top seed in the West for the first time since 2010 by defeating the Jazz with Anthony Davis putting up a great performance.
The Thunder on the other hand lost to the injury-riddled Nuggets and dropped down the standings. With the Western conference stacked from 2nd spot to 6th spot, a victory or loss could change the dynamics completely.
The Lakers might give their new additions more game-time while the Thunder will look to move above the standings to avoid a early clash against the heavy-hitters.
Chris Paul has led the Thunder admirably, especially when everyone had written them off. They now have a great chance of climbing that Western conference points table.

Team Preview – Los Angeles Lakers
The Lakers looked in ominous form against the Jazz with Anthony Davis leading from the front by putting up 42 points and 12 rebounds. Superstar LeBron James had stats of 22 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists against the Jazz and has continued with his brilliant play-making abilities through the course of the season. LeBron has let AD take the bulk of offensive duties in terms of scoring and is happy dishing out the assists.
The Lakers supporting cast has ably supported the all-star duo with Alex Caruso, Kyle Kuzma and Caldwell-Pope contributing well against the Jazz. Dwight Howard too contributed 11 points and 5 rebounds. Dion Waiters and JR Smith will hope for some more minutes on the court vs Thunder.

OKC Thunder are a little shorthanded for this game, especially when it comes to their bench players. Dennis Schroder and Mike Muscala are out and their absence proved costly for the Thunders.
