The Kings and Clippers will play their third and last scrimmage game today. Here we look at the preview, team new, and where to watch the Scrimmage game.

The scrimmages are in their last stage as the 22 teams participating in the bubble will play their final practice matches today and tomorrow. In today’s scrimmage, schedule 5 matches will be played in which the Sacramento Kings will take on Los Angeles Clippers

Teams will look to get their combinations and tactics right in the last scrimmage game ahead of the seeding games starting from 30 July.

The Kings have not been able to register a single win, having lost their opening two scrimmages. Whereas Clippers are on top of their game, winning both their opening two matches. A win for Sacramento Kings in today’s game will give the players the much-needed boost that they will want ahead of the bubble restart.

The Clippers on the other hand are a little short-handed but still have been able to play some impressive basketball. They will want to get out of this scrimmage without losing any more players and hope that the restart brings them some healthy and protocol adherent days.

Kings vs Clippers Scrimmage preview

The NBA teams have the last chance to try out all possible combinations for the seeding games. The Kings lost to Bucks and Heat in close ties (98-104) and (123-131). The team is hit by injuries and Coronavirus as there key players were missing out from the scrimmages.

Clippers on the other side have won both their matches against Orlando Magic (99-90) and Washington Wizards (105-100). The Clippers are definitely the favorites for the match but they might not go with full strength, so Kings may benefit from that.

The Clippers too are a little short on personnel, with Lou Williams recently becoming a victim to ‘ignorance of NBA Bubble protocols. However, with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George firing on all cylinders, the Clippers look pretty sorted heading into this game.

Lou Williams will not be available for this game as he has to isolate himself for 10 days due to the recent “Strip Club” incident. He will miss the first two seedings games also.

The rest of the team have playing minutes under their belt but Doc Rivers will want to put forward his best combination in this match. Paul George has scored 29 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists in the previous two encounters.

Team News for Sacramento Kings

The Kings have a tough time to gather their roster in one place. The team is hit by multiple injuries and hence they will need their reserve players to step up.

Marvin Bagley III is out of the season after spraining his right foot during training and De’Aaron Fox is also under the rehabilitation of his ankle and won’t be the part of today’s game.

Harrison Barnes has cleared the COVID-19 test and is in Orlando. But he is under quarantine and will miss today’s Scrimmage. Alex Len has also not played in the first two games and is likely to miss the third also.
