The can was not hurled toward Natalija, who was standing with her son on the roof of a parade bus. It hit another team member on the bus first before it ricocheted and hit her face. The incident occurred just moments before Nikola Jokic used profanities in a speech, claiming that he wants to stay for the victory parade.

The title celebrations went wild for the entire team. The Denver Nuggets have won their first championship in 47 years of franchise history. After spearheading his team throughout the playoffs, Jokic found himself in the middle of a weird situation with his wife.

However, it seems like the Nuggets superstar has changed his mind since then.

Jokic’s speech confirmed that he was having the time of his life. The two-time MVP said that it was the best day of his entire life. While the celebrations were expected to get as wild as they did, Jokic’s energy matched the atmosphere:
