Kyrie Irving got the better of LeBron James in their matchup despite the latter’s 32-point outing. They gave each other the cold shoulder.

Apart from the showdown between the two strong teams, the match was also a clash between two former teammates- Kyrie Irving and LeBron James. The two stars played together at Cleveland and even won a historic title together back in 2016.
One would expect both of them to show a lot of camaraderie, love and respect to each other. However, prior to the tip-off, the two superstars didn’t even hug or dap each other. This only makes it suspicious whether they have any ongoing beef between them.
Something or Nothing? No hug/daps between LeBron and Kyrie pregame 👀

‘We’ll see the healthy Lakers done the line again’: Kyrie Irving on LeBron James and co
The duo showed a lot of love to each other not only while they were in Cleveland together, but even after they spilt and went on to play for different teams.
Much of that came into question, however, when Kyrie apparently dissed LeBron in a podcast with KD. Kyrie made a statement last month about how James made it easy for him in Cleveland. But the damage to their relationship was done.
Kyrie didn’t disregard LeBron and co even tonight though. He stated how he would expect to see the healthy Lakers team down the line:
“We’ll see them down the line again and we look forward to it, with a whole entire healthy Lakers team, that’s what we really wanted and I know everybody wants that. I’m looking forward to the challenge and seeing them down the line.”
Both Kyrie and LeBron are playing spectacularly for their teams so far this season. They both have been selected as this year’s All-Star starters, with LeBron James being a team captain. Let’s hope that the speculations of their supposedly ‘beef’ are nothing.
