Shaquille O'Neal

Shaquille O’Neal and Dwight Howard have been beefing for a long time, and it doesn’t seem like they’ll be stopping any time soon.

The hatred towards each other started from the 2008 dunk contest. Shaq had adopted the ‘Superman’ nickname during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers.

However, for whatever reason, Dwight Howard decided to put on a superman cape during the dunk contest. He may have been trying to pay respect to Shaq or mock him, but whatever it was, Shaq did not take too kindly to it.

Things have only escalated from there with Shaq calling out Dwight Howard for being a bandwagoner for jumping on the Lakers’ title run last year. Now that Howard’s back, Shaq had more words for him:

Shaquille O’Neal Fires Back At Dwight Howard For Imitating Him

Dwight Howard is back with the Los Angeles Lakers for the third time in his career after re-signing on a minimum one-year deal.

Touring his ‘new-old’ facility, Dwight Howard decided that it would be a good idea to mimic Shaq during his tour:

Shaq had a hard roast for Dwight Howard following his ‘impersonation.’

Shaq and Howard’s beef isn’t going to end anytime soon, and especially with Howard joining Shaq’s old team, the arguments are only going to get more and more heated from here on out.

The Lakers are looking to make it back to the NBA Finals after a disappointing playoff loss last year. The Lakers’ biggest addition is Russell Westbrook, but Howard will look to bring some rebounding and defense back to a team that seemed to lack it last year.
