Over the course of the years, gaming has really become a huge part of the NBA. All players want the honour to be on the cover of NBA’s 2K game, however, very few legends get that glory. Over the years, we have seen some all-time greats like Allen Iverson, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Giannis Antetokounmpo, among many others, on the cover of 2K on several instances.
This year too, NBA 2K released three editions of the game, announcing five basketball legends as the covers. 22-year-old Dallas Mavericks prodigy Luka Doncic was named the cover athlete for the Standard Edition” and “Cross-Gen Digital Bundle”. WNBA icon Candace Parker is the cover athlete for the “WNBA 25th Anniversary Edition”. While 3 legends of their eras – Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Durant, were introduced as the cover for the “NBA 75th Anniversary Edition”.
