“Now That’s Ludicrous!” Shaquille O’Neal Backs Draymond Green Post Suspension, Shares Ludacris’ Post on IG Stories

Draymond Green is yet again all over the news, and NBA Twitter. After the play last night, which led to his ejection, the Warriors continue to suffer the repercussions of his actions. Earlier today, when the Clippers were playing the Suns, the NBA announced that Draymond will be suspended for Game 3.

Many believe ejecting him in a close, single-digit contest, with the team down 0-1 on the road, was a bad enough call. After all, it wasn’t Draymond who initiated the play, but Sabonis who did so by pulling on Dray’s leg. However, the NBA used ‘past incidents’ as a metric to issue this suspension. As expected, it did not sit right with a lot of people.

One of them was Shaquille O’Neal. The big man already made it known yesterday that he wasn’t too good with the ejection. Now, he also spoke up against the suspension.

Shaquille O’Neal shares Ludacris defending Draymond Green

What happened today is the kind of thing that makes people question whether the league is actually fair or not. People were already mad over his ejection, and considering how Domas was the one who initiated the whole sequence, a suspension seemed out of the question. However, the NBA did not care. They used Green’s history as a basis to make this case.

Shaquille O’Neal has been defending Draymond Green for his actions, both on-air and on his Instagram stories. He did the same again as he shared a clip put up by Ludacris.

Here is the clip by Ludacris. He’s captioned it “🤦🏽‍♂️ #nowthatsludicrous” which sits perfectly for the current situation.

Draymond expressed his emotions through his Instagram story

Draymond Green is one of those people who don’t mask their feelings. After the game yesterday, Green had clearly said that his leg was grabbed.

After getting home, he went on his Instagram and re-shared a story he was tagged on. He captioned the same and wrote,

“Nothing wrong here. Solid basketball play!!”

It was clearly a dig at Sabonis, who claimed Green’s play was non-basketball-like and has no space in the game. We’ll have to see the Dubs play without Green on Thursday and see how the defending champions will do.
