It has been an emotional week for the black community in the United States. With Derek Chauvin convicted on all 3 charges for unlawfully murdering George Floyd last year, there was much to celebrate as judicial retribution had finally come into play. However, on the same day as the conviction, 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant was shot dead in Ohio by the police.
LeBron James seemed to have lost control of his emotions upon hearing news of the Ohio native’s death as he took to Twitter to post a picture of the officer who fired shots at her, and captioned it with, “YOU’RE NEXT.”
This caught a ton of flack on social media as LeBron James was called out for inciting violence upon officers of the law. Knowing the influence he has with over 100 million followers on social media, the Lakers star decided to delete the tweet.
His tweet has been making headlines for days now, as even disgraced NFL star OJ Simpson recorded a 2-minute video, addressing the debacle at hand.
Donald Trump Jr calls out LeBron James on his deleted tweet and commends OJ Simpson
In the video OJ released, he tells admits that he’s an avid LeBron James supporter and admires the work he’s done when it comes to speaking about racial injustices in the United States.
However, he also cautions James on being as brash as he was in regards to the “You’re next” tweet. “You can’t fight every battle. You gotta pick your battles. This one, LeBron should’ve waited.”
Donald Trump Jr didn’t skip a beat and took to Twitter to clown the 4x champ for having been “dunked on by OJ Simpson.” He carried on by saying, “Imagine how bad your take has to be to bring OJ out for the layup!”
OJ dunking on Lebron. 🤣🤣🤣

OJ Simpson did indirectly not side with LeBron James on this matter as he calls out edited versions of what took place in the events leading up to Ma’Khia Bryant’s death.
While James wholeheartedly believes it was unlawful for shots to have been fired at Bryant, OJ says the police had no other choice as he was armed with a knife and could’ve, at that moment, taken the life of another person.
