"OKC going after Bronny James?": Intense speculation about LeBron James' eldest son's NBA future is going rife on Twitter

Speculation is rife that LeBron James will head next to Oklahoma City Thunder to be able to play with Bronny James in 2023.

Given that the Thunder potentially own 3 draft picks in 2023, they are well-placed to be able to lure King James. LeBron James has made it no secret that one of his remaining goals before retiring from the NBA is to play alongside his eldest son, Bronny.

“That would be an unbelievable moment not only for myself but for my family, for everybody. That would be pretty dang cool if I were able to be on the NBA floor with my oldest son.”

Bronny James is presently a member of Sierra Canyon High School’s basketball team. He’s been in the headlines for having secret TikTok accounts, girlfriend speculation. There’s also the potential dalliances with Instagram models, and maybe getting grounded by LeBron.

What are the chances of Bronny James making it to the NBA?

Bronny James is a 4-star recruit in his 2023 class. He might be able to play alongside his father if he’s able to make the grade as a dominant player in high school or as a college freshman. But realistically speaking, there is no surefire way to know how he measures up to his competition in latter years.

One thing is for sure though – Bronny will definitely have an edge whenever he decides to declare for the draft. This is because signing him comes with the impending benefit of possibly landing LeBron James. Although the 36-year-old will be over 39 by that time, he will still be box office.

Even if the team is unable to recruit LeBron, the presence of his son on any NBA team will definitely raise its profile. The scrutiny on Bronny will be immense if ever does make it to the NBA. He has shown a lot of promise so far, and we hope has a successful basketball career if that’s what he wants.
