"Pandemic P is back!": NBA Fans cannot stop making memes as Paul George misses two clutch free throws in Game 2 against the Suns

NBA Twitter shows no mercy to Clippers star Paul George, as George misses two clutch free throws that may have cost Clippers the game

The Los Angeles Clippers are right where they have been at the start of all the playoff series this season. They have dug themselves into a 2-0 hole, and are in a familiar place yet again. However, this time around, they do not have the services of Kawhi Leonard to force them out and about.

The Phoenix Suns won a very close encounter in Game 2. The 104-103 win by the Suns could have swung either way, as there were a lot of close plays. One such was when Paul George missed two clutch free throws. With 8.2 seconds left on the clock, the Suns fouled PG and sent him to the charity stripe. George missed both the free throws and that left the Clippers narrow 1 point lead to stay the same.

NBA Twitter goes full steam at Paul George

At the start of the game, PG looked like he was running on steam. He only had 16 points in the first three frames of the game. However, that changed as Paul George scored 10 of his 26 points in the final frame of the game. George was pivotal in narrowing the brief Suns lead and getting the Clippers to their 1 point lead. NBA Analyst Skip Bayless, who usually wreaks havoc on players for such plays, could not do so for his beloved Clippers.

The rest of the NBA Twitter wasn’t as considerate. The memes started coming as soon as the ball hit the rim and the long rebound came to Mikal Bridges.

The Clippers would like to change the narrative as they head back home. Game 3 would be crucial in deciding who makes it out of the West.

Game 3 takes place on Thursday at the Staples Center.
