Jared Dudley made some real eyebrow-raising comments regarding Clippers star Paul George in his book dedicated to the NBA bubble.

The NBA bubble championship is among the most unique sporting circumstances that a team game has ever been played in. The Covid-19 situation in the USA made it necessary for teams to operate in isolation from the world. Practically every sport that resumed did so in some state of quarantine.
The bubble was a huge organizational success for the NBA. It took tons of planning and expense to manage the events in Disney World, which took place over a period of 3 months.
Jared Dudley, who’s basically a victory cigar for the Lakers as their 15th guy on the bench, has penned down his observations and thoughts from the bubble. His book, called “Inside the NBA Bubble: A Championship Season under Quarantine”, is out now.
What Jared Dudley wrote about Paul George in his much-anticipated book on the bubble
In the book, Dudley took care to write at length about the animosity between the Clippers and the Lakers. He laid bare his thoughts on what he felt was the Clippers’ overconfidence, particularly that of Paul George.
“We don’t talk to people on other teams. As far as we’re concerned, our squad is the only squad. We know that there are some real feelings regarding the Clippers. It’s more than just battle-for-LA stuff, though that’s part of it.”
“We hear some of those guys talking about how they’re the team to beat in LA. It’s fine if Kawhi says stuff like that. He’s defending a championship. We don’t trip if someone like Patrick Beverley is talking trash; that’s how he feeds his family. We get it. We respect the hustle.”
“But we think it’s disrespectful for Paul George, who hasn’t won, to put himself on the level of Bron and AD. This motivates us. When we see those guys around the compound, we don’t really kick it with them. The one exception of course is Markieff, whose twin brother, Marcus, is on the Clippers. This probably keeps tensions from boiling over.”
