"Refs need to give me a f**kin whistle":6 ft 2" Ja Morant Gets Ejected, and Then Comically Face Times Fans for it

NBA officials need to do a better job of handing out penalizations. Over the last few weeks, we have seen refs give out the most bizarre of calls, and today, it seems to have reached the boiling point. Ja Morant was ejected from the Grizzlies vs Thunder game for an absolutely comical reason.

And while we won’t necessarily make a whole piece out of an ejection, this one deserves it. To be thrown out of an NBA game, you would have to do something ridiculous. Not this season.

Ja Morant was thrown out of the game for talking to a fan. Yes, talking to a fan. Here is the full breakdown of the incident.

Ja Morant gets ejected for a bizarre reason

Imagine showing up to a game only for the refs to decide and eject the superstar for making conversation with fans. And while it may seem like heckling at first, it wasn’t even close to it.

Morant even showed them the thumbs up before leaving.

If all is good why would the NBA penalize a player for such an instance? At this point, we are unsure, but what exactly transpired? Let’s find out.

How an ejection turned into a joke

Moral of the story? Don’t talk to fans, you can probably heckle them but don’t talk to them. And it was Memphis fans who Morant was talking to, speaking about how “the refs need to give me a f***in’ whistle”.

The refs heard this and tossed him. Way to take things personally.

And after he got ejected, he decided to FaceTime the fans to tell them it wasn’t their fault. Such a sweetheart.

Without Morant, the Grizzlies are looking like they will fall to the Thunder. Does it matter? Not really, He might just be engaged in a long conversation with fans instead.
