LeBron James has always been a sentimental person and usually lets his emotions known to the people. He was close friends with the late rapper Nipsey Hussle.

He is often seen singing along to Hussle’s music in his stories on Instagram. LeBron was among the few people who vowed to honor Nipsey’s legacy. LBJ often uses ‘#TheMarathonContinues” in his posts, honoring the late rapper’s 2011 mixtape.

As for Kobe Bryant, it is no secret how close James and Kobe were. The friendship and the brotherhood the two shared went beyond the court. They spent years dueling against each other in the NBA and playing together for Team USA.

LeBron got a portrait made of the two from an artist named Lindsay Dawn, who runs her own gallery. He captioned his post as “Wit me every single day when walking my hallways. 🏁&🐍 Continues to live on!”
