"Robert Covington will be on Shaqtin-a-Fool tonight": Warriors' bench goes NUTS as Blazers forward commits a bad turnover for double-dribble

The Warriors’ bench goes CRAZY as Robert Covington has a Shaqtin-a-fool moment in the 3rd quarter of their win tonight.

The Portland Trailblazers met the Golden State Warriors tonight, for the second match of their back-to-back. After the Blazers recorded a triumphant win on Friday, there were a few who bet on the Dubs to take tonight’s game.

However, Steph Curry and the Dubs proved the naysayers wrong, recording a comfortable 137-122 win. The highlights of the show belong to Stephen Curry and his massive 62 point showing. He was 18 of 31 from the field and shot 8/16 from the deep.

Steph made a new career-high in points, and also recorded the highest points made in the Chase Center. The previous record was co-incidentally held by Damian Lillard, who scored 39 in the Blazers’ visit back in November 2019.

Robert Covington has an embarrassing Shaqtin-a-fool moment

In the 3rd quarter, Blazers were down 73-63, when Covington got a steal and had a chance to cut the lead to single digits. During his approach to the basket, Robert Covington can be seen holding the ball and committing a double-dribble. This play made the entire Dubs’ bench get on their feet and exploding!

Somehow, all three officials missed the violation and did not call Covington on it. As luck would have it, Robert Covington ended up missing the wide-open layup.

The Golden State Warriors are in for a tough ride. They suit up again tomorrow night, as the Kings come for a visit. They then have back-to-back games with the Clippers. To wrap up their homestand, the Raptors and Pacers will make their way to the Bay.
