"Paul George is a soft-a** n***a": Devin Booker cusses out Clippers star following altercation in Suns loss after George gets fouled

Devin Booker and Paul George had a war of words midway through the fourth quarter of Clippers vs Suns tonight.

The Clippers huffed and puffed to victory in a game that they should’ve put to bed a long time before the final few seconds. At one point, the Clips held a 60-29 lead over the Suns, whose offense was sputtering. The Suns managed to cut down the halftime lead to 20 before getting within a possession of the Clippers in the 4th.

Kawhi Leonard had a wretched shooting night, going just 4-of-21 from the field for his 15 points. But the Clippers played some exemplary defense in the first half to stifle Phoenix, especially in the second quarter. The halftime score of 64-44 was actually quite flattering to the Suns, if anything.

Devin Booker and Paul George exchange words after tussle

Devin Booker is among the hotter heads in the younger generation of the NBA. The 24-year-old is known to lose his temper despite the occasion not calling for it sometimes.

In this instance, he got into it with Paul George because he thought PG-13 was faking a foul called on Deandre Ayton.

After a few NSFW words between the two, their teammates and the referees quickly stepped in. Perhaps it was for the best, as George looked like he might squander a good shooting night with an ejection. He definitely was swinging elbows around.

Booker calling George a ‘soft-a** n***a’ definitely cannot have helped with his temper. But after a double technical was called on them, both George and Booker went back to their usual selves with the ball. George and Booker top-scored for their respective teams on the night.

George had himself 39 points on 24 shots, making 7 of his 10 3-point attempts. Booker, on the other hand, had 25 points on only 13 shots, making 10 of his 12 free throws.
