Savannah James Recalls When She Knew LeBron James Was ‘The One’ For Her: “We Spent The Whole Day Together”
Savannah James and LeBron James have had a storybook relationship lasting over 2 decades now. Mrs. James recalls the specific moment when she felt she had something to last a lifetime.
One of the things that set LeBron James apart from many other all-time greats is his squeaky clean public image. The worst transgression the Laker star’s ever made was criticizing Daryl Morey for his support of the ‘Free Hong Kong’ movement.
Apart from that isolated incident, James has led an exemplary life – privately as well as publicly. And the lion’s share of the credit for this should go to his wife and partner.
Sticking with Savannah ever since he became a public figure has definitely helped to simplify James’ life. The legendary NBA player could’ve had his choice of super-hot women – Rihanna is a known admirer – but he’s stuck with the woman whom he started dating in high school.
Savannah James reveals the incident that made her believe LeBron James is ‘the one’
Savannah was recently interviewed by Sylvia Obell – an uncommon occurrence, given the guarded nature of her public appearances. However, Obell was able to get her to spill some secrets which we didn’t know about LeBron.
In particular, she asked Savannah to point readers to the incident that solidified her belief that LeBron would be her ‘forever’ – cheesy at it sounds. While pointing out the corny nature of the question, Mrs. James obliged with this answer:
“It was a snowstorm the night before and we didn’t have school the next day. He called me: ‘I’mma come and get you so we can go to breakfast.'”
“I answered the phone like, ‘Hello? I’m asleep.’ So I hung up the phone. I hopped up out of the bed so fast. I was so excited. As much as my body wanted to stay in that bed, my heart said, ‘No, we going to get breakfast.’ And we spent the whole day together.”

Savannah and LeBron are approaching their 10th anniversary
While LeBron and Savannah had had 2 sons by 2011, they hadn’t really exchanged marital vows. But in a short while, LeBron decided he wanted Savannah to be his partner forever, and he proposed in December 2011.
The couple got married in September 2013, following James’ 2nd NBA championship against the Spurs. Savannah gave birth to their daughter Zhuri a couple of years after that.
