“Scripted Since a Kid!”: Nikola Jokic’s Childhood Photo in Serbia Predicted the 2x MVP’s Future With Denver Nuggets
Nikola Jokic has been ripping up the Lakers in this Game 1 like nobody’s business. Anthony Davis is not doing a bad job at guarding him. However, the Joker just seems to be elevating way past him. Setting that aside though, what we’re really here to talk about is a little moment from the broadcast of this game. And frankly, it may just convince you that the Jokic has been slated to be a Denver Nugget right from his childhood days in Serbia.
You see, this game is taking place at Denver’s Ball Arena. And apparently, the crew at this jumping stadium decided there was a better way to hype their team up than jumping and cheering. So instead, they shared a few childhood pictures of Jokic. And while some were the stuff of memes fans have come to love so much over the years, one of the photos seems to predict his future a bit creepily well.
Nikola Jokic has a picture with a Denver Nuggets sweater on from when he was a toddler
Nikola Jokic is Serbian, having grown up in the town of Sombor, where he lived in a cramped two-bedroom apartment with his two brothers, both parents and his grandmother.
We say this to put into perspective what his family’s financial situation was. Further, even if he has been playing basketball for a long time now, it’s hard to imagine him having a passion for it as a toddler.
So, there should be no connection to basketball here, nor the means to purchase any of the expensive NBA merchandise. And yet, the photo in the tweet below by ‘Oh no he didn’t’ exists. Take a look.

These pictures were displayed at the Ball Arena for absolutely everyone to see. And we doubt there were many left unsurprised after seeing the picture on the left. One fan fittingly called it as it was.

You just can’t make this kind of thing up. Sometimes reality really is far stranger than fiction. We just hope Nikola Jokic doesn’t feel too uncomfortable about the unknown forces at work here.
