Shaquille O’Neal Launches Attack on Michael Jordan, Kevin Durant and co. In Hypothetical Matchup: “This Is A Sweep”

Shaquille O’Neal loves betting on himself. Considering himself to be the “most dominant player of all time”, the former Los Angeles Lakers legend will always select a lineup that his name is in over any other roster.

Recently, the 51-year-old took to Instagram to post a hypothetical matchup between a few past and present stars of the National Basketball Association.

According to the post, Shaq’s belonged on the team that comprised Stephen Curry, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Giannis Antetokounmpo. In his virtual matchup, they were against the likes of Irving, Michael Jordan, Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant, and Tim Duncan.

Shaq believes his side is sweeping Michael Jordan and co.

Seems like a pretty exciting battle between the two teams. However, the 7-footer swears that his side would either end up sweeping Jordan and co. or restrict them to merely 1 win in a 7-game series.

Posting the photo, the Big Aristotle captioned it:

this is a sweep they might get one game. what you think?

While it is difficult to gauge which team will emerge victorious, for obvious reasons, one can only imagine how entertaining the star-studded clash could be.

On one hand, Shaq’s team, thanks to the presence of Kobe and LBJ, have a combined 68 All-Star appearances compared to MJ and co.’s 55. Not only in All-Star appearances, but the Diesel’s squad also leads His Airness’ five in total MVPs, 10:8.

While the team comprising three Lakers legends has a clear advantage on the offensive side, Jordan’s army has more defensive firepower, having 2 more DPOY wins.

While it certainly is pretty tough to estimate the winner of this battle, it does get basketball enthusiasts thrilled.

Shaquille O’Neal is an avid fan of these hypothetical matchups

This isn’t the first time that the 4-time NBA champ has gone to discuss a hypothetical clash on his social media.

Here, have a look at a few more instances of the 2-time scoring champ doing so.

Of course, being the humble personality he is, O’Neal picked himself to win in each and every single one of these imaginary contests.
