The Golden State Warriors find themselves on the brink of elimination after blowing a lead late in their Game 4 loss. Skip Bayless inadvertently hinted that the Warriors should look to move on from Steve Kerr. Bayless believes that he’s lost the locker room, based on their haphazard execution.

Anyone who’s watched Warriors basketball this year can tell that their style is distinctly different from their championship years. Those teams seemed to play basketball with a joy that overshadowed some of their turnover troubles.
Their play on both ends this season has been disjointed at times. This was evidenced by their 4th quarter meltdown last night when they only scored 17 points. In just the final 3 minutes, the Splash Brothers both missed 2 shots apiece while Curry surrendered 4 free throws to LeBron.
Draymond. 😅

Draymond Green made a boneheaded play that effectively ruined the Warriors’ chances. The final play of the game itself was a turnover by Steph. A scheme that has come to define their current season.
Skip Bayless believes that these Warriors may not be needing Steve Kerr anymore
Blame was directed to a lot of quarters by a ton of Warriors fans for their loss last night. None of their core 3 – Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Stephen Curry – escaped it.
However, Skip Bayless opted to point the blame in a different direction – that of Steve Kerr. The FS1 host believes that the Warriors need some other voices to be heard:
“Something has been afoul this whole year. Something has been off this whole year. They may have to change voices going into next year. They may have to change Steve Kerr. At some point, they’re not hearing what they need to hear.”
“The Warriors may have to change voices from Steve Kerr. At some point, they’ve hit the dynastic wall. They’re doing things SO uncharacteristically bad.”

Kerr has borne the brunt of criticism for the Warriors through the past 9 seasons. However, in this case, Kerr is probably not the one you’d be pointing fingers at.
The Warriors have been terrible from many angles
Not only has the Warriors’ offense stagnated, but their defense has also been a far cry from their excellent best. Whenever Draymond Green, Kevon Looney and Andrew Wiggins were tasked with making a difference on that end, they usually succeeded.
But the cohesion that once marked this team apart from everyone else in the Association is nowhere to be seen. Their fall in defensive ratings this year – especially on the road, serves as ample proof of this.
Steve Kerr would be among the better people to address this, given his knowledge of the core trio’s tendencies. Rather than moving on from Kerr, Bob Myers should look at being rid of Draymond Green perhaps.
