"Somebody Cursed ME?": Kevin Durant Delivers Hilarious Response to Reporter's Strange Question

Kevin Durant has gone through far more than most players ever dream of or fear. For one, he was arguably the best player on arguably the greatest team of all time, which won 2 championships. Further, he could lead the Suns to a title charge this season. But on the other hand, the man has also had to go through multiple injuries. And perhaps the worst of them was this one.

That right there is an Achilles injury. It’s the thing that effectively killed Kobe Bryant’s NBA career, along with so many others as well. In other words, it is effectively the worst kind of injury imaginable when it comes to basketball. And yet, he still stands as one of the best players in the NBA right now.

That said, his tug-of-war with injuries never seems to end. Just recently, the man came back from an ankle injury. And as many fans know, it seemed to happen out of absolutely nowhere during a pregame warmup.

The way that injury took place seems peculiar, something beyond unfortunate. So, while he has healed right up from it, there still remain questions regarding just how it happened. And so a reporter recently asked the man a rather peculiar question, something he responded with in the most perfect way possible.

Kevin Durant gives his thoughts on whether he ever felt cursed or not

Kevin Durant isn’t one of those people that often holds back what he is thinking. And over the years, it has resulted in some hilarious interview moments. Heck, we’d reckon this one with Charles Barkley is never going to die.

Yes, the man can sometimes make the person feel all kinds of awkward, and not give a flying… eff about it. However, on other occasions, the man is going to smile and give you his most humble thoughts. And frankly, it really does warm the heart.

So, when the man was asked if he sometimes feels he is cursed, many were expecting quite the answer. And sure enough, this is what he had to say.

“Hell nah. I mean, look at my life. Somebody cursed ME?”

Even if the man had said that he does indeed feel cursed sometimes, there’s not a person in the world that could’ve justifiably blamed him. However, he just chose to look at the positives of his life. And when it really comes down to it, how can you not appreciate that? Keep on keeping on, Kevin Durant!

What is Kevin Durant averaging this season?

After 42 games played, Kevin Durant is now averaging 29.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 0.3 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game. Additionally, he is shooting 56.6% from the field, 38.6% from three, and 93.1% from the charity stripe.
