Stephen A Smith heaps some massive praise onto Stephen Curry, compares him to Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan

Stephen Curry man. What can we really say about him at this point?
As an NBA fan, you’ve probably heard it all by now. He’s the undisputed, greatest shooter of all time, and his handles are arguably the best in the league as well. But, somehow, despite being one of the greatest players to ever grace the court, the man is probably more humble than any of us in the NBA community.
In our opinion, if you haven’t watched Curry play, you haven’t watched NBA basketball, it’s as simple as that. The man is such an incredible entertainer, he could probably be in a circus all by himself, and still earn millions.
Now, if you think we’ve been going a bit too far with the praise, know that this was just the warmup. But it isn’t us who will be continuing from this point forward. No, no, no, from this point on, we are handing the baton to the one and only, Stephen A Smith. And let’s just say, even fans of the Chef are going to be a bit shocked at what he has to say.

Stephen A Smith puts Stephen Curry’s offensive game at a level that rivals even the great Michael Jordan
Okay, deep breaths. Let’s not explode here.
Michael Jordan is arguably the greatest hooper that was ever spotted on planet earth. We’d give him the universe title too, but we don’t know if the Pentagon has footage of an alien dunking on someone.
Jokes aside though, this is clearly a pretty massive hot take. But is it REALLY as absurd as it really sounds? At the very least, let’s let the man explain himself. Take a look at the clip in the tweet below.

In case you didn’t notice, something beautiful happened in that clip. Even if just for a second, Stephen A Smith and Max Kellerman agreed with each other. Personally, I definitely had a tear rolling down my eye when I saw it.
Overall, though, the argument isn’t exactly blasphemous here. Sure, there are things that MJ could do, that Stephen Curry just couldn’t. But as a shooter, Stephen Curry is country yards ahead of everybody else, with maybe the only exception being Damian Lillard.
But does that put him on par with Michael Jordan offensively? What do you think?
