Stephen Curry Reunited With Kevin Durant At Star-Studded Party and Toasted with Michael Jordan's Tequila

In 2016, the Golden State Warriors became the most hated team in the NBA. Why? They managed to snag Kevin Durant in free agency, essentially creating a super team.

That’s right, the Warriors managed to convince the Slim Reaper to come to San Francisco. Where, he would team up with Stephen Curry for the next three seasons, winning two NBA Championships together.

Durant would leave the team in 2019 to join his current team, the Brooklyn Nets. But, he still keeps in touch with his former running mate and the two were recently reunited at a party he hosted in New York.

Kevin Durant and Steph Curry reunited at a New York party while toasting with Michael Jordan’s tequila

Kevin Durant recently hosted a huge dinner party with his longtime manager Rich Kleiman. Hosted at The Nines in New York City, several major celebrities made an appearance including KD’s former teammate in Golden State, Stephen Curry.

That’s right, Curry was present at the party, as the two had a reunion of sorts, four years after Durant’s departure from San Francisco. A source claimed that the two were happy to meet, and catch up after such a long time.

“Both Kevin and Steph embraced and got to chat and catch up. They were very happy seeing each other and had some quiet alone time too.”

On a side note, the two even had some of Michael Jordan’s Cincoro tequila while reminiscing. As Kleiman raised a toast to his guests with a glass of the same.

KD seriously considered reuniting with Steph back in Golden State

An off-court reunion in New York is all well and good. But, back during pre-season, many believed that Durant and Steph could be reunited once again in Golden State. Rumors were swirling that KD was unhappy in Brooklyn and would be interested in rejoining the Warriors.

It certainly would have been a heck of a move. One that would have broken the league all over again.
