It’s been a while since we saw an old scorer at the level of Stephen Curry. Yeah, we’ve been watching LeBron over the past 3 years too. But LeBron isn’t the type to have scoring outbursts in the regular season. He usually reserves them for his playoff runs.
Steph, on the other hand, has been a very different kind of revelation all year long. The Warriors legend has compiled one of the greatest regular season scoring runs of all time. The stats speak for themselves.

We saw Steph go into his ‘Skyf***er’ mode in April after the Warriors dropped 4 games below .500. The Stephster recorded a month for the ages, averaging over made 6 3-pointers per game last month.
‘Stephen Curry celebrates like Baron Davis’: Reactions to Warriors’ last game of the season
The Warriors and Grizzlies met today in a game that would decide who’d hold the 8th seed in the West. The Warriors have now rounded into top form despite the absence of Kelly Oubre and Eric Paschall.
Steph bamboozled the Grizzlies defense all night, slicing and dicing his way to 46 points in the game. His efforts were instrumental in leading Golden State to yet another 8th placed finish and their 8th playoff appearance in 9 years.
Steph pulled out the Baron Davis celebration after finishing the night with 46 points. It was a fitting end to a season that could’ve yielded him his 3rd MVP trophy but for Nikola Jokic.

The Warriors will most likely take on the Lakers in their first play-in game. They’re bound to start as heavy outsiders if they’re facing a fully fit Lakers team with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
