Sue Bird Steph Curry Commercial: Warriors Superstar Fights in Perfect 1v1 Against WNBA GOAT in CarMax Commercial

Stephen Curry has 4 NBA titles already, that’s already more than most NBA players could even dream of. And there is no doubt his final championship was one where the star was at his pettiest by far. And while most fans couldn’t have enjoyed that more than they did, it appears that one of his sponsors in CarMax felt they had to humble him just a little bit. So, they set a bit of a 1v1 between the two of them. And it turned out very, very differently from what you might expect, resulting in a commercial that is beyond hilarious.

Sue Bird dominates Stephen Curry with her college championships

Of course, this was not a game of basketball that CarMax set up. As unfortunate as it is, Stephen Curry’s and Sue Bird’s respective franchises are not going to like the possibility of any kind of injury during the shooting of a commercial. That said they had to make some kind of battle. And so, they decided to make it one about how many rings each of them had. And it is one that the WNBA star absolutely dominated. Take a look at the YouTube video by CarMax below.

“Well played, Sue (Bird). Well played.”

Stephen Curry of course spent 3 years in college and just wasn’t able to go over the top to win an NCAA championship. Sue Bird was in college between 1998 and 2002, and as she showed in the advertisement, she won 2 championships with UConn, in 2000 and 2002.

When it comes to the 1v1 battle here, as great as Stephen Curry is, we have to give this one to Sue Bird. But who knows? Perhaps Stephen Curry can add to his championship total with yet another NBA title this season.
