Devin Booker has kickstarted his playoff career in spectacular fashion, leading the Suns to a first-round win. He also has jokes about Dennis Schroder.

The Phoenix Suns met the Lakers 11 years after the two teams last battled it out in the postseason. This was their first appearance in this intervening period, while the Lakers were defending champions. But with Anthony Davis out injured, the Suns made short work of LeBron James and co.
None of their final 3 games of the series were particularly close. Devin Booker played a stellar role in all 3 games, but most importantly in Game 6. The Suns got off to a hot start based on Booker’s stupendous first quarter, in which he swished 6 3-pointers.
The 24-year-old finished with 47 points on the night. He was the Suns’ only consistent offensive weapon on a night when the Lakers made it tough for them to score in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.
Despite their best attempts, however, the Lakers couldn’t muster the fuel for one final run in the 4th. They got the deficit down to within 10 points in the 4th, but that was the closest they would get all game long.
Devin Booker mocks Dennis Schroder on Instagram following 4-2 series win over Lakers
Booker seemed to be in a jovial mood even on social media after their win. After all, to the victors go the spoils, don’t they? And NBA Twitter definitely had a ton of spoils to present in favor of the young star.
Booker and Schroder had gone at each other all game long. Devin obviously came out on top in terms of scoring, but it seems he also took the spoils in trash talking terms. This clip shows him jawing at LeBron and Schroder after making a dagger shot in the 4th quarter.

That wasn’t all, however. Booker isn’t the type to let trash talk go unnoticed or unanswered. He carried this same energy onto his social media interactions as well, commenting on B/R’s Instagram post regarding the same.
