“They All Got Skeletons”: Colin Cowherd Once Indirectly Accused LeBron James of Cheating on Wife Savannah James

In 2016, Colin Cowherd called out LeBron James for bringing up Charles Barkley’s controversial incidents and throwing personal mud. The 1987 rebounding leader had accused LBJ of whining when the All-Time Leading Scorer complained about the lack of a playmaker. This is when James had the services of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, and Tristan Thompson. The Round Mound of Rebound believed that the 4x NBA champion is “needy” and should be content with the supporting cast.

Responding to this, James pointed out how Barkley had once spat on a kid during his playing days. As per Cowherd, since the legendary rebounder was just talking hoops, the 4x MVP didn’t have to be personal. Then the analyst cautioned King James that if things go personal, he is also aware of some secrets about him that can ruin his family-first image.

“In sports, among men, the general rule is they all got skeletons, you don’t go personal. Barkley didn’t go personal. He talked hoops. LeBron went personal. You don’t go there. I got buddies at work at Nike, more than one. LeBron’s got his baggage too,” claimed Colin Cowherd.

The analyst then highlighted that since NBA athletes are millionaires, they can use their fame to engage in stuff that they’d want to keep personal from their spouses. In short, Cowherd implied that the phenomenal athlete cheats on his wife Savannah James. 

Rumors of LeBron James cheating on his wife have surfaced a year before Cowherd’s take. When James flew Rihanna out in his private jet for a Cavaliers game, fans speculated that something was happening between the two. Considering Rihanna’s open admiration of James and one of her viral Insta posts with his #23 painted on her abdomen, these rumors couldn’t stop flowing.

Is there any truth to the LeBron James and Rihanna rumors?

These rumors picked steam when Savannah James shared a cryptic post on Instagram in 2015. She posted a photo with the text, “When you start realizing sh*t….’” and captioned her post, “I been knew but I’m going with my gut this time.”

Sources from Hollywood Life also suggested that Savannah James isn’t comfortable when the music sensation publicly expresses admiration for her husband. One of the sources claimed, “Savannah thinks it’s inappropriate for Rihanna to be sharing the pictures of him to her 63 million followers. She thinks Rihanna is sending the wrong message.”

Since there is no way to confirm these rumors, each interaction between the two megastars is under scrutiny. In June, during a Louis Vitton backstage event, the 4x Finals MVP caressed Rihanna’s baby bump.

This led to a lot of speculations, however, this can imply a multitude of things. The legendary forward is a doting father and this can be a loving gesture to the life inside her womb. At any rate, there is nothing substantial to confirm if James has ever cheated on his wife yet.
