LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers can’t seem to catch a break. After having a rocky start to the season, they were starting to find their ground in November. However, I guess they ran out of favors with Lady Luck as Anthony Davis suffered a foot injury that has him sidelined for at least a month.

After climbing the Western standings, the Lakers have fallen back to the 13th spot with a 13-18 record. While the Lakers struggle, Bron has been putting up a historic 20th NBA campaign. He’s averaging 27.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game.
LBJ put out a tweet today which has NBA Twitter guessing what he truly wants to convey.
Is help arriving for LeBron James and the Lakers?
Since Anthony Davis got injured, the Lakers have gone 1-2 in their three games. The only win came against the Wizards, where Kyle Kuzma missed a game-winning shot. Yesterday, Bron talked about what AD’s injury means to the team.
“We’re already a team without a lot of length and a lot of size,” LeBron James says, which makes the loss of Anthony Davis to injury all the more of an issue for the team.

Not long ago, he put a very cryptic tweet.
Fate whispers to the Warrior, You cannot survive the Storm.” The Warrior whispered back, “I am the Storm….”

It is highly unclear why Bron put this tweet out, but that didn’t stop NBA Twitter from reacting to it and making assumptions.
LeBron to the Warriors?

Who can the Lakers target before the Trade Deadline?
The Trade Deadline for the 2022-23 NBA season is February 9. With Russell Westbrook playing excellently off the bench, he has managed to remove himself from the trade block. Now, earlier this season, the Lakers publicly announced that they were targeting some shooters and listed three guys:
- Bojan Bogdanovic
- Cam Reddish
- Evan Fournier
Their plans for Buddy Hield or Myles Turner might be dead in the water after the way their star rookie, Benedict Mathurin, has been playing.
We’ll have to wait and see what Rob Pelinka ends up doing before the Feb 9 deadline.
