Toronto Raptors New logo: The NBA champions are getting a new jersey and logo for 2020/21 season
Defending champions Toronto Raptors are all set to have a new look for the 2020-21 season, getting a new logo and a new jersey in place.
According to Chris Creamer of SportsLogos.Net Raptors have plans to change their 2019-20 season winner jersey. Raptors are looking to fine-tune their famous red chevron centric uniforms and make it more eye-catching.
Creamer mentions that the chevron has long been a part of the team’s identity, dating back to those side chevrons on the purple jerseys of Vince Carter’s heyday in 2000.

Why are the Toronto Raptors changing their logo and jersey?
As the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has brought huge financial losses to the franchises and the NBA, Raptors feel that a new jersey would encourage more fans to buy their merchandise, which in turn will lead to more revenue for the franchise.
The jersey that Raptors are planning to change has won them the 2019-20 NBA season. In the finals, they beat Golden State Warriors 4-2, earning the franchise its maiden NBA championship. By achieving the feat they also became the first team outside the United States to win the trophy.
Raptors struggling to get to Orlando
As the lone Canadian team, Raptors are having some issues to get to the Walt Disney World for the NBA restart . According to them, they are having issues with the regulations made by the Canadian government for the COVID-19 Pandemic. Some Raptor Players are already in the US whereas some are stuck in Canada only.
Raptors have a title to defend and will look forward to solving the issues as quickly as possible. Toronto Raptors with a (46-18) record are placed on 2nd in Eastern Conference just behind Milwaukee Bucks. Their new look team does have a solid chance of going deep into the playoffs, but would need a solid effort from everyone on the floor, as their talisman from last season, Kawhi Leonard is no longer with the team
