Watch: LeBron James Walks into Lakers Locker Room to GOAT Noises Ahead of the Crucial Game 4 Win Against the Grizzlies
The Los Angeles Lakers have cornered the Memphis Grizzlies into a difficult spot. This is most surprising after the dominance Memphis had over the Western Conference in the regular season. But it is also a punishing lesson for the Grizzlies that the results of the regular season don’t always translate to the playoffs.
LeBron James and Co., after that horrible start to their season, are proving that things have certainly changed for them. Since the All-Star break, this new-look lakers side has not failed to impress.
A major reason for their success has been LeBron without a doubt. The 38-year-old is leading the team by example and doing whatever is necessary to win games.
From his dominant rebounding to unstoppable scoring, James is constantly pushing the boundaries of what is expected of him. And his teammates are in awe of all that he is capable of. Their new locker room routine also goes on to prove the trust they have in LeBron.
LeBron James welcomed with Goat noises in the Lakers locker room
After the thrilling win against the Memphis Grizzlies last night, the Lakers’ locker room atmosphere was clearly ecstatic. Players were undoubtedly celebrating their crucial win over the Grizzlies.
With a two-game cushion over their first-round opponents, LeBron James also seemed far more relaxed. His performance last night was certainly deserving of all the praise he could get but his teammates took it one step further.
As soon as King James entered the locker room, every gold and purple player started making goat sounds. This is not the first time they have done this and have been messing with the 6ft 9″ superstar with this prank for weeks.
In the video, you can see Troy Brown Jr., Rui Hachimura, and D’Angelo Russell clearly making goat sounds. Although, Russell was by far the most animated as he dapped up LBJ without a single pause from making Goat sounds.
The Lakers’ team atmosphere seems better than the last two seasons
Since the trade deadline, the Lakers team atmosphere has seemed really positive. The team looks far more united than they did for the past two years. Of course, the winning has helped but it also feels like the new additions have brought a much-needed positive mindset and healthy bonding to the team.
