The Los Angeles Clippers are back at the Footprint Center for Game 2 against the Phoenix Suns. After Kawhi Leonard and Russell Westbrook went off in Game 1, the Suns will be looking to hold them down tonight.

So far, after the 1st quarter, it doesn’t look like the Suns have been able to do a good job at that. The Clippers finished the first quarter 29-24. Russ and Kawhi came out with the same intensity, and that has been rubbing off on the team.
Kevin Durant is either being guarded by Kawhi or Russ. Either way, they’re making life hard for the 2x Finals MVP, and Ty Lue would be very impressed with what he’s seeing.
Russell Westbrook slams away Kevin Durant’s shot
In Game 1, Russ came out with full intensity, and the same applied even when he was guarding his former teammate, Kevin Durant. He rejected KD’s shot in Game 1.

Tonight, he started with the same intensity. He blocked KD’s attempt from the top of the key.

So far in the game, Westbrook has 10 points, one rebound, one assist, and one block. He’s already doing a better job scoring the ball. If he continues to do so, Monty Williams and the Suns have a lot to figure out.
