“Who Am I, Shaq or Rudy Gobert?!”: 7ft 1″ Shaquille O’Neal Fired Shots at Timberwolves’ Big While Talking About Son Shaqir O’Neal
Shaquille O’Neal is one of the funniest personalities in and around the NBA. The big man has always chosen humor as his weapon of choice, but sometimes, it has hurt him a lot as well. Ever since he retired from the NBA in 2011, Shaq joined TNT, and has been part of several productions of theirs.
Primarily, Shaq is a co-host on Inside the NBA, alongside Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, and Kenny Smith. Along with his time on the show, Shaq also runs a podcast with TNT, titled The Big Podcast.
Shaq runs the Big Podcast with Nischelle Turner and Spice Adams. There they discuss a wide range of topics, from what’s happening in the NBA, to what’s happening in the world. This week, they started by talking about Shaq attending his son, Shaqir’s game at Texas Southern University.
Shaquille O’Neal takes yet another dig at Rudy Gobert
During the podcast, Shaq was asked if he was wearing burgundy because he was repping the TSU Tigers, where he spent the weekend watching his youngest son, Shaqir O’Neal, play for them. Shaq replied and shared the actual reason for the same, which was supporting a female entrepreneur.
Going back to his son, Nischelle asked O’Neal if his being there makes his kids nervous. Big Diesel replied and said,
“Nah, they definitely get nervous when I’m there. Because they think I’m looking for perfection. I’m not. Perfection is in the eye of the beholder. I’m trying to teach you guys this, but I’m just looking for them to play hard and have fun. Two things gon happen: You’re gon have a good game, or you’re gon have a bad game, period. Last time I played, I couldn’t score, I went like, “Who am I, Shaq or Rudy Gobert?””
How did Shaqir perform this game?
With Shaq in attendance, Shaqir was sure set to have a good game.
