The Los Angeles Lakers are preparing for a battle. After being knocked out in the first round in the 2021 playoffs, the 2020 Champions are back for blood. The Lakers didn’t spare any effort in doing so. They got the third superstar in Russell Westbrook, to complement LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The Lakers also added a lot of veterans in free agency. They added Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Trevor Ariza, Kent Bazemore, and Kendrick Nunn.
As all of them made their way to sign their new contracts, Dwight Howard was on an Instagram live, where he gave us a lot of inside news and information. He talked about the plans for the upcoming season, had a chat with Head Coach Frank Vogel, and chat with his new teammates. He also gave us a tour of the locker room, where he spent over a minute talking about LeBron James’ locker.
Dwight Howard points out the privileges LeBron James gets in the Lakers camp
In his second season alone with the franchise, LeBron James got the Lakers their first ring in a decade. He made a promise to the management and kept his end of the deal. There is no question why he has superstar status in the team. Dwight Howard just showed us another aspect of the superstar privileges when he toured the Lakers’ locker room.
Howard took us around the locker room and showed us how LBJ has two lockers for himself, and both of them are full. There are sneakers, jerseys, do-rags, and anything that the King may need. Dwight then talked about LeBron and his do-rag tying skills.
