“You Played Clumsy Too”: Shaquille O’Neal Hilariously Goes At Charles Barkley For Spilling Drinks In The TNT Studio
Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley have an undeniable level of chemistry with one another when on ‘Inside the NBA’ together. In tonight’s broadcast where the crew would cover Game 2 between the Phoenix Suns and the Denver Nuggets, Shaq would once again use his quick wits to hilariously go at Chuck for a flub he had earlier on in the show.
The dynamic the two share is quite the unique one and can only be described as something two brothers would have with one another. They routinely get into arguments regarding their basketball takes and call each other out on their shortcomings during their NBA careers.
On the other hand, Chuck constantly has Shaq in splits over his rather ‘raunchy’ jokes. They have said on multiple occasions that they do share a brother-like bond with each other and it clearly shows on screen.
Shaquille O’Neal hits Charles Barkley with a sly comment on TNT
Charles Barkley and his love for food and drinks that aren’t in his diet is a trope that has been a part of ‘Inside the NBA’ for decades now. In tonight’s broadcast of the show, Chuck was handed some soda and upon opening it, he spilled a bit of it on the studio floors.
While he was bending down to clean it, Shaquille O’Neal hilariously told him that he was a clumsy player during his time in the league as well. Surprisingly, Barkley admitted that he was and carried on with his take on Nikola Jokic.

Chuck would go on to talk about just how incredible of a player Jokic is following his 39 point performance in Game 2. Devin Booker had 35 points himself but with Chris Paul out due to a groin injury and Kevin Durant going 10-27 from the field, the Suns simply didn’t have enough firepower to get through the stifling Nuggets defense.
Was Charles Barkley a clumsy player?
The way Charles Barkley played the game of basketball, he certainly was more prone to be stripped of the ball. He played down-low and battled for rebounds and tried to get putback layups or dunks. While he was very good at it, he would either get blocked or had the ball stolen on multiple occasions.
Shaquille O’Neal rarely ever battled for the boards like Chuck did and in his 19-year career, notched 3310 turnovers. Barkley, in 16 years, has 3376 turnovers. So in comparison to Shaq, yes, Chuck was clumsier than O’Neal by a slight margin.
