Watch The Tottenham player astutely bundled the ball in the back of the net
Left at the periphery by Jose Mourinho in the 2019-20, Tottenham’s record signing, Tanguy Ndombele looked set to have played his last for the club. He was completely left in the cold by the new manager to leave the midfielder grow increasingly flummoxed at his situation.
However, Tanguy refused to be dissuaded by the treatment meted out to him. Pulling his songs up, the player put in the long hours to gradually work his way back into the side’s gameplan.
Now a mainstay of Tottenham’s playing 11, Tanguy Ndombele showed why the player opened the strings of their purses for him. He scored a wonder of a striker against Sheffield United on Sunday, a goal which ensured his club the three points on the day.
Despite racing into a 2-0 lead inside the first half, Tottenham failed to make that dominance count for anything. As Sheffield United came out strongly in the second half, Tottenham found themselves rattled as the hosts halved the deficit through a David McGoldrick goal.
Tanguy Ndombele’s Moment Of Magic Sees
However, Tanguy Ndombele eased the club’s jitters as he restored his side’s two goal lead within the matter of a few minutes. And it was a goal worthy of winning the fixture as well with the player calmly collecting the ball before finding the net with an astounding finish.
Working his way into Sheffield United’s goal after a quick exchange with Steve Bergwijn, Tanguy ended up receiving the ball back from Bergwijn. However, despite seeing his back to the goal and finding himself in an improbable angle to score, Tanguy coolly lofted the ball over Ramsdale’s head.
I just wanted to watch this one more time

The goal was enough to seal the fixture with Tottenham managing to control the play and close out proceedings henceforth. The 3-1 win saw the club return to winning ways after having drawn against Fulham earlier in the week.
