Neymar return to Barcelona

Neymar return to Barcelona: The return of the Brazilian star to Barcelona is only possible under two conditions, reports Goal.

Neymar’s controversial transfer to Barcelona left a certain level of bad blood among the Barcelona fans. The Brazilian’s conduct on the days running towards the transfer was publicly criticised by Barcelona’s president, Josep Bartomeu as well.

Neymar joined Barcelona in 2011 and spent three seasons at the club, before securing a stunning transfer to Paris Saint Germain. Barca fans perceive the reason for the transfer to be solely financial, which has made Neymar an antagonist among the fans.

The forward also filed a complaint against Barcelona for failing him to offer the €26m bonus on penning the new deal, which has complicated the relationship between both the parties even further.

Football media outlet Goal, meanwhile, has now reported that there are only two conditions on which Neymar could return to Camp Nou.

Neymar return to Barcelona:

According to Goal, Neymar will have to publically apologize for the measures he took to secure a move away from Barcelona. In addition to this, the Brazilian forward will also have to take an astronomical cut in wages he currently earns at Paris Saint Germain.

The Brazilian forward will also have to likely forgo the €26m bonus which he currently claims, if the deal for a return to the club goes through. Given the complexity of the legal procedures, a return is difficult.

The possibility of a return is also hampered due to Barcelona’s failed attempts to bring PSG stars like Marquinhos, Adrien Rabiot and Marco Verratti. PSG have accused Barca of unsettling their players, with Rabiot reportedly denying a new contract due to interest from the Catalan side.

Neymar has been impressive for PSG since signing for them last summer. The Brazilian forward has scored 41 goals and bagged 23 assists in merely 46 games for the side. However, his time at PSG was marred with controversy when he reportedly had a fall-out with striker Edinson Cavani in his first season at the club.
