Neymar scores a stunning solo goal against Croatia on his return to football

Neymar was injured and made a comeback in emphatic fashion in the international friendly against Croatia.

Neymar announced his comeback in the grandest of fashions today as he scored the opening goal against Croatia. He ensured that goal will be talked about for some time, as he cleared three defenders before finally putting the ball inside the net.

Coutinho played the ball forward to the Paris Saint Germain winger, and Neymar dribbled and cleverly cut inside. He went past Vrsaljko and cheekily created space between two other defenders, before finally taking the shot. The goalkeeper was left with no chance as ball went straight into the left corner of the goal.

Neymar’s was the first goal of the match, and this is a huge moment for Brazil. Their star man is back and he’s returned into his goal-scoring form. He hit his trademark goal and announced that he’s still the main man for Brazil.

Neymar now trails Romario by only one goal in the Brazilian list of all time top goal-scorers. The Brazilian star forward is third in the overall list.

The Brazilian forward suffered an injury in February, and had been out of football since. This is his first match after his return to football, which makes the occasion even more special for all the Brazilian fans.
