Real Madrid have identified three players as their primary transfer targets in the summer transfer window.

Zinedine Zidane headed the exit door last summer because of the lack of transfer power last summer. With Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari failing at the helm, the Frenchman was recalled by the president Florentino Perez and handed him over the transfer power to revamp the current squad.

According to the French outlet L’Equipe, the Spanish club are ready to splash as high as 400 million euros in the transfer window. The Los Blancos have not spent much in the last three transfer windows which are reflecting in the results as some of the players have passed their prime.

Zinedine Zidane’s top three priorities are understood to be Paul Pogba, Eden Hazard, and Kylian Mbappe in the summer transfer window. The reigning European Champions came so close to signing the Chelsea attacker last summer, but he decided to stay after Maurizio Sarri’s request.

In a recent interview, Paul Pogba has talked about his admiration for Real Madrid and his refusal to turn down a transfer away from the Red Devils in the summer transfer window. Even though Solskjaer will not be willing to sell him, it remains to be seen if the club will be aiming to recoup if he was adamant about the move.

On the other hand, Florentino Perez’s homage on Kylian Mbappe has not been private. The Los Blancos agreed on a deal with Monaco during the summer of 2017, but the World Cup winner instead decided to join the French giants Paris Saint Germain. He would cost at least 200 million in the summer transfer window.

400 million seems to be a plausible amount to lure these stars to Santiago Bernabeu after the conclusion of this season. It will be interesting to see how things work out in the future as Zidane plans to reconstruct the club. Besides targetting these three players, the left-back Marcelo is set to put at the club after struggling to impress his former boss, Santiago Solari.
