Julian Edelman, the $25 million net worth holder former receiver, was once Brady’s go-to man on the Gridiron. Tom left the Patriots and jumped ships to Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. However, before Brady could do that, Edelman decided to steal a few things from Brady’s locker.

During his recent appearance on the Games With Names Podcast, retired NFL receiver Julian Edelman, who stepped away from the game two years ago in 2021, discussed in detail about the ‘Precious Brady Memorabilia’ he chose to take with him, before the GOAT QB left the Patriots.
Julian Edelman’s Proud Stealing Moment out of Brady’s Locker
Julian Edelman clearly remembered the time Brady left his beloved Patriots. Not only this, the list of Brady’s belongings he took, is as clear as the day in his head. “When Tom left, I went to his locker, and I stole like three pairs of his cleats that he wore in games,” said Edelman.
He added, “I took a couple of jerseys. I think I may have taken his deodorant. He used to have these smell goods, and I would always come and steal a little shot of his cologne.” Edelman also said, “Tom Brady always smells good. Tom always smells good. It’s weird. I’m like, bro, how are you smelling good? We’re on practice.”
Tom Brady, James White, Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, Devin McCourty and Donta Hightower have now all retired.

The incident is rather funny but showcases the emotional connection between Tom Brady and Julian Edelman. They have a considerable history together, that ranges from Edelman being the most reliable receiving target for Brady and the duo going on to win Super Bowl XLIX, LI, and LIII together for the New England Patriots.
Brandon Marshall Tells the Story of Finally Getting a Tom Brady Jersey
Alongside Julian Edelman, Brandon Marshall appeared on the same episode of ‘Games with Names’, telling his story about holding a grudge against Tom Brady. He says the general consensus is that ‘Brady is loved’, so what led Marshall to hold it against Brady? Well, so he says, Brady promised Marshall one of his jerseys to add to his legendary jersey collection.
He waited for months in a row and built a grudge against Tom Brady for not keeping up to his words, which happened around 2011. However, around the time the Covid-19 pandemic hit, Brandon received the jersey with a message saying, ” Hey B, you’re a great player. Look forward to seeing you continue to thrive.”
Well, it is as sweet as it gets for Brandon, with praises coming from Tom Brady. Brandon loved the gesture and added, “I fell in love with the guy.” Even though Brady is retired now, one can say for sure that he will forever be one of America’s favorites.
